The summer school 'RESTORING REGULATED STREAMS LINKING THEORY AND PRACTICE' (Saturday 27 June - Monday 29 June) addressed students and young researchers before the final conference (30 June - 2 July 2015). The summer school was attended by 12 participants. The 3-day programme included:
- An introduction and field visits to two contrasting stream restoration projects (Day 1)
- The theoretical background of assessing hydromorphological modification of streams and rivers and identifying appropriate restoration measures considering the socio-economic context (Day 2)
- The application of the theory on the visited restoration project to draft a restoration plan (Day 3)
